" I am an Eastern Shoreman, with all that name implies. Eastern Shore corn and Eastern Shore pork gave me my muscle ...

... I love the Eastern Shore! "

Shore Explorations examines the past, present and future of the Mid-shore region while drawing inspiration from the life and legacy of Frederick Douglass. Born in Talbot County in 1818, Douglass remains a model for self determination and our ability to create a better world.

What is it about the Shore that gives you your ‘muscle’ ?

Shore Explorations is offered by The Frederick Douglass Honor Society and Waterfowl Chesapeake,
and invites visitors to consider what it means, both collectively and individually, to be "of the Eastern Shore.”
